Morning items stick to American classics with a little extra class—huevos rancheros are spiced up with a smoky chipotle chorizo-red bean tomato sauce and red pepper guacamole, while French toast is made with fluffy challah bread that’s caramelized to perfection. Dinner is equally specialized (not to mention BYOB) with American and Mediterranean options dressed up to suit open palettes and hearty appetites: the house specialty, bouillabaisse, turns the usual seafood concoction into an inspiring medley of tilapia, shrimp, and mussels marinated in a rich tomato and saffron broth; braised shortribs, meanwhile, are prepared with a distinctive fontina cheese and dried cherry port sauce; and the simply prepared salmon comes with oven-dried tomatoes in an olive oil and Chianti reduction.
