Covering 13 acres of land and boasting 150 animals from Burmese Pythons and Burrowing Owls to Domestic Ferrets and Siberian tigers, The Brandywine Zoo is a fun, educational stop for the entire family. Located in Brandywine Park, the zoo is open year-round, seven days a week, with seasonal activities planned throughout the year. The zoo features guided Discovery Tours as well as a host of educational programs like Story Time with the animals, Keeper Watching (experiencing the zoo from the zoo keeper’s perspective), and more! You can even adopt your favorite animal for a year with the A.D.O.P.T. (Animals Depend On People Too) Program, where your adoption fee is tax deductible and used to develop animal habitats.
