National Night Out Event on August 3rd

On Tuesday, August 3, 2010, Spring City will be participating in National Night Out, which is a countrywide event to promote awareness in the community.  Over 35 million people in our country participate in this annual event which places focus on drug prevention and support for local police-community relationships. 

Spring City will be locking their doors and spending the evening outside with neighbors. The Spring City Lions Club will be at the Spring City Pool Complex, which will be open until 9 p.m. with half price admission after 5 p.m. The event will include refreshments, music, face painting, military vehicle displays, balloons, and the opportunity to meet with local officers serving the area.
