A visit to Independence Hall is a visit to the birthplace of modern democracy. In this Georgian-style red brick building, signatories of the Declaration of Independence assembled to affirm their belief in the new political system. Completed in 1753 from a design by Andrew Hamilton and Edward Woolley, the building has since become recognized for its liberty theme by Americans and international free-thinkers alike.
