Martine's Riverhouse: Dine on the Waterfront

Nestled quietly on the shores of the Delaware River, Martine’s Riverhouse sits steps from its previous location in the historic town of New Hope. With loads of outdoor patio style seating and an interior décor that is simple yet eye-catching with blue linen and dark wood furniture, the ambiance is casual yet elegant. Dinner at the Riverhouse is an unpretentious take on American-infused dishes, with starters that range from the Mediterranean-inspired hummus flavored wth sun-dried tomato and toasted garlic to Asian-influenced starters like potstickers filled with hoisin roast pork and served with an apple cabbage slaw and sweet plum sauce. For an entrée, you can’t go wrong with the sautéed duck breast and confit leg served with buttermilk mashed potatoes and a golden raisin apple chutney, or the decadent lobster ravioli tossed with colossal Gulf shrimp, Roma tomatoes and basil chiffonade, and finished with a pink vodka sauce. It’s comfort food with a layer of (delicious) sophistication.
