Hearts, fire, anger, passion…what images does the color red bring to your mind? To keep away the winter blues, Penn State Great Valley is going red with its Seeing Red art exhibit. See how local artists view and use the color red in this unique multi-medium show featuring the many shades and moods of red.

Get an insider's look at the new Seeing Red Exhibit and meet the artists and staff who put the show together at this Gallery Open House. Light refreshments. Free, registration required.

Holiday Decorations

Now that the holidays have passed, we ask that all decorations be removed from the exterior of your home by January 15th.

Holiday Safety facts to remember:

We want you to be safe during this holiday season.

The holiday season is a festive time of year. We understand that you may choose to celebrate the season with colorful decorative lights, windowsill candles and ornamented Christmas trees. During the celebrations this month, we would like to remind you to take special care so that you, your family and neighbors all have a safe and happy holiday season.

•Remember to keep your live tree well watered.
•Always turn off the lights on your tree or in your windows when leaving your apartment or going to bed for the evening.
•Choose flame resistant or flame retardant decorations.
•Dispose of your live tree as soon as it gets dried out. You may want to check with your local community regarding recycling programs.
•Keep all trees and decorations away from fireplaces or any type of open flame.
•Don’t overload electric cords. Follow all safety instructions for your lights.
•Please be reminded that candles are prohibited per your lease agreement.

Please remember these tips as you decorate your apartment home.
