We Care

Mark-Taylor is entering its 5th year of partnership with Save the Family, a non-profit group that supports homeless families in Arizona. The group provides everything a homeless family with children might need, including housing, counseling, legal assistance, daycare, clothing and other essentials. Mark-Taylor has been on board to provide free rent for a year to select families as part of the organization’s Ambassador Program.

The apartments are donated to provide these families with a hand up, giving them a chance to save money while they rebuild their lives. Mark-Taylor’s program has been featured on NBC Nightly News with Brian Williams with monthly features on NBC’s Phoenix station, KPNX-Channel 12.

Most recently, Mark-Taylor was honored with Arizona’s highest, most prestigious service award, the Governor’s Volunteer Service Award.

President Dale Phillips and Marketing Director Kim Atkinson accepted the award from Gov. Jan Brewer in Tucson, AZ in April of 2010. We follow our families throughout their stay with us, and wish them well as they lead into lives of self-sufficiency.
