VinciTorio’s: Hearty Italian Cuisine in Tempe

Lovers of hearty Italian cuisine have been flocking to VinciTorio’s for years, and the restaurant has received raves from just about every Arizona publication. From the minute you walk in the door, you’ll feel at home. Owners Mario and Ginger VinciTorio are often working the house, and the employees all seem really happy to be there. Portions are gigantic, so you’ll want to go with a large group to have a chance to taste many of the menu’s hits. The calamari here is some of the best you’ll ever eat, fried to crisp perfection and served with a spicy marinara sauce. Pastas are great, with the agnolotti carbonara providing a decadent, creamy dish. The cannelloni rossini is also quite good. This variant on a French crepe is stuffed with veal, chicken, and Ricotta cheese and baked in béchamel sauce. Desserts are spectacular, with eaters raving about the panna cotta and especially the tiramisu. Every Wednesday, VinciTorio's features live acoustic guitar music and half-price bottles of wine!

MADCAP Theaters hosts "Make 'em Laugh Present…"

 “Make ‘em Laugh Presents”, an ongoing series of original stand-up comedy performances will be returning to the MadCap Theaters “Third Thursday” event in Tempe, Arizona. Once again the performance will show case four of the valley’s biggest names and rising stars including Jeff Wiles , Jamie Anderson (Jester Comedy – Flagstaff/Tempe), Boomer Nichols (Bru-ha-ha Comedy – Glendale/Phoenix) and Jill Bryan (Stand-up Live – Phoenix). The evening will be hosted by Comedian and Producer Anthony Thornton of Make ‘em Laugh Entertainment.
