Weekend Fun in Ocean City!

This weekend, Saturday is jam-packed with some great events, so check out what's going on!
The Eastern Surfing Association is holding a surfing contest on Saturday, August 28th at 7th St. Beach. Registration is at 7 a.m. and the first heat is at 8 a.m. Call (609) 884-577 for more information, or visit snj.surfesa.org.
Also on Saturday, the Ocean City Theatre Company is presenting The Magic of Broadway, a song and dance spectacular featuring music and excerpts from many hit Broadway shows. Performances are at the Music Pier at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., and admission is $12 for adults and $10 for children under 12. Purchase tickets by calling (609) 525-9248 or visit www.ocnj.us.
Finally, Saturday, August 28th is the Ruth Newman Shapiro Cancer and Heart Fund 5K run and walk, and the kid’s one mile fun run at the Sports and Civic Center (6th St. off Boardwalk). Registration is from 6:30 – 7:45 a.m. and the race starts at 8 a.m. Prizes will be awarded to the top three male and female winners and to the top three finishers in each age group.
