It's hard to pass up the opportunity to see the largest crab in the world, and harder still when it's housed at a killer seafood stop. Along with "Taz," an 80-foot-diameter inflatable crab, East Bay Crab boasts some of the freshest, best prepared seafood along the Eastern seaboard. Simplicity is the name of the game here, so expect to enjoy fresh caught crustaceans and other seafood items without any unnecessary frills. As its name suggests, crab is the main attraction at East Bay Crab, but there's also an array of shrimp, stuffed fish, and seafood combos as well as chicken and pasta platters.

Tomatoes: A Jersey Shore Hot Spot for Food and Fun

Chic and stylish décor outfit this popular Jersey Shore restaurant—an establishment that remains bustling with diners year-round, especially during summer months when obtaining a reservation is a nearly impossible feat. Called “extraordinary“ by Zagat in 2007 for its California-Asian cuisine, diners visit Tomatoe’s for “consistently excellent food” that includes fresh sushi rolls, homemade pastas, and inspired entrees, “as well as the lively scene” (New Jersey Monthly). Tomatoe’s sushi menu is highlighted by creatively conceived signature rolls like the Autumn Roll, filled with crab, peppercorn salmon and avocado, wrapped in seaweed and rice, and topped withed spicy tuna. For dinner, non-sushi eaters can enjoy creative plates of pan fried soft shell crabs in a yellow pepper sauce, Chilean sea bass in a miso glaze and pistachio crusted rack of lamb. In an interview with The Atlantic City Press, owner Karen Sherman called her food, “sushi theater”—a fabulous performance for sure, as diners continually vie for tickets to see the show.
