Anatolia Mediterranean Cuisine in Boca Raton serves classic Mediterranean food in a welcoming ambiance. On the menu are traditional favorites of Mediterranean cuisine: think falafel, stuffed grape leaves, zucchini pancakes in yogurt sauce, roasted artichokes, and juicy kebabs of lamb, beef, and chicken. Since everything on the menu's so appetizing, your best bet might just be to order a selection of dishes to share with a group! Each plate is presented in an artful, appealing way that really shows off the beauty of the entree's ingredients. And no meal at Anatolia is complete with a taste of the flaky baklava stuffed with a nut paste and drizzled with luscious honey. Thai Thai Restaurant: Dining Out’s Choice for “Best Thai Food in Broward County”

May 8, 2012 by

Dining Out magazine calls Thai Thai Restaurant the “Best Thai food in Broward County,” and who could argue? The establishment has been the recipient of numerous culinary awards, including the Five Star Diamond Award from the Academy of Restaurant Hospitality & Sciences. Thai Thai offers a full dining experience from traditional Asian appetizers like steamed dumplings filled with chicken, shrimp, and vegetables to chicken, beef, and pork satay, barbecued Thai style and served on a stick. There is also a selection of sushi rolls as well as sushi and sashimi dinner entrées for one and boats to serve the table. Entrees at Thai Thai range from curried dishes and noodle bowls to sautéed meat, chicken, seafood, and fish dishes in a variety of sauces. The chef suggests the Thai Thai chicken—a deep fried breast served with vegetables and the house’s own secret sauce—but you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu.

Vegetarian Food For Everyone at Green Wave Cafe

If vegetarian food has no appeal, Plantation’s Green Wave Café will change all that if you give it a try. It has become one of the most popular restaurants in town, producing wonderful meals from its vegetarian kitchen. Chef Lisa Valle has been knocking out incredible meals for years that perfectly balance flavor and nutrition. Located in a nondescript strip mall, you’re more than likely to be met by Valle and her husband inside. The menu has a large number of strong dishes, but special praise goes toward the delicious daily soups, which fuse magnificent flavors in interesting ways to keep diners coming back. The hummus open sandwiches are amazing, served on onion bread with avocado, tomatoes, and sprouts. Vegan cheeseburgers are also very well-received, doused in a cheesy sauce that will have you flabbergasted that there’s no dairy in it. Eating here might not convert you to vegetarianism, but you’ll have a great meal.
