Located just a SEPTA ride away from the YoNo Apartments, the Fabric Workshop and Museum on Arch Street in Philadelphia aims to promote the use of fabrics and textiles in the arts. Chartered in 1977 as a screen-printing studio with a focus on functional arts, the Fabric Workshop and Museum has now broadened to include artists creating work in a variety of media, including even horsehair and fiberglass! Important artists like Louise Bourgeois and Glenn Lingon have made work during residencies here. The Fabric Workshop and Museum frequently hosts educational programming, such as weekly workshops on silk-screening. There's a large online curriculum, as well, so check the Fabric Workshop's website for more details! The Fabric Workshop and Museum is a must-visit for YoNo Apartments student residents with a passion for the arts.

Housed in a former bakery in Philadelphia's Downington district, the Victory Brewing Company has grown by leaps, bounds, and hops since its founding in 1996. If you'd like to see this craft brewery up close, Victory offers free tours of the space Wednesdays through Sundays. The brewery includes an impressive blend of traditional beercraft with state of the art, environmentally friendly technology. Victory recently installed 345 photovoltaic solar panels to offset their power consumption. It's made the place one of the greenest breweries in the country! The tours end with samples of any of Victory's delicious beers. If you get hungry, the attached restaurant is very good, too. Cheers!

Sure, it's gone through renovations and name changes over the years, but the Wells Fargo Center remains Philadelphia's sports hub. Home to the Flyers and the 76ers, this indoor arena can hold nearly 22,000 for hockey and basketball games. It's located at the southwest corner of the South Philadelphia Sports Complex — adjacent to Citizens Bank Park and Lincoln Financial Field, accessible by the Broad Street Line and I-76. And it's not just for sports! The Wells Fargo Center's versatile setup enables it to host large live concerts featuring national acts like Taylor Swift, Bon Jovi, and U2. Visit here and you'll also discover the AT&T Pavilion, with a range of restaurants and bars like The Bud Light Zone, Campo's Authentic Philly Cheesesteaks, and Chickie & Pete's… home of Crabby Fries! Whatever the event, a trip here won't disappoint!
