Create a Following

Encourage resident engagement through social media! As followers of your Facebook page, Twitter page, and/or blog; residents will receive your updates in their news feeds, which will keep them informed about what is happening in and around the community. The only way your residents will know about Respage and your social media initiatives is if you tell them. Here are some ideas:

  • Link to your Blog, Facebook, Twitter and other social media accounts from your website or residents page.

  • Send an email to your resident and prospects.

  • Put a flyer anywhere residents might stop and look (mailboxes, laundry rooms, etc.) and under doors.

  • Add your blog, Facebook, and twitter links to the of the signatures of all staff emails.
  • If possible, add links to any invoices that are mailed out.
  • At property events, remind residents to check out your social media sites.

Tell us what is happening in your community

The more we can post information that pertains specifically to your community, the more your residents will see Respage and your social media initiatives as an important source for community information. Send us content about happy hours, book clubs, special events, maintenance updates, or anything else your residents need to know about. Here are some specific ideas:
